More gifs. Illustrator for drawing triangles, photoshop for coloring, and after effects for animation. This type of stuff that I’m making reeeaaally makes me consider doing time-based design next year at DAAP… BUT I REALLY LIKE PRINT AND INTERACTIVE DESIGN… UGH.
Can I do all three?.. I know I can on my own time but is there such a degree that’s like “Good job. Here, take this design degree that works for everything. Do pass go, and collect $200.”
Oh well… If anyone knows any good after effects tutorials please send me a link!
CITY
Made this tonight to relieve some stress. Thanks photoshop and Old Arc.
An abstract, geometric representation a city. Or at least what it reminds me of. Idk.
It was an experiment with new spacial systems, such as making a border not on the border and having a line design contrast with everything.
Tell me what you think.
More.
“I’m experimenting more. I’m starting to reaaaaaalllyyy like this style of work though and may continue it.
This is an old picture of two of my friends and I drew lines in illustrator and colored the shapes in photoshop, as well as some photo manipulation in photoshop to add some color depth.
I need opinions, critique, and whatever else anyone can give.” -deviant art page of this thing I made.
So. I need opinions/critique so i can further development of this style.

Done.
Photoshop, Illustrator. (CS6)
Over a course of a weekend, I made this.
Drew the hand in illustrator, then did the background and coloring in photoshop.
And that’s it.
Tell me what you think!
1. Design 1
Some are doodles, some are drawings, all I made with my hands and eyes. Tell me what you think, critique, or whatever you want really.

This is a work in progress for a piece due on the 30th.
It’s entirely digital other than using a scan of a my sketch as a reference.
Each shape was manually drawn in 3 layers (red, blue, yellow)
Going to add more lighting to it.
Thinking of titling it as “Crystal Castle” but that might be too cheesy….
